How to import to mobile Google Maps
- Click to download the .kml file.
- Open google.com/maps/d on desktop and click “Create a New Map” → “Import”.
- Upload the .kml file.
- On your mobile phone, open the Google Maps app → tap “Saved” → scroll to “Maps” to toggle your live pins.
Open a list
Tap a “Save to Google Maps” link below. It opens our list or map in Google Maps.
Save it
For a list, tap Follow. For a map, it's saved under Saved → Maps once opened while signed in. Our pins then show on your map.
Go offline
Download the area under Profile → Offline maps. Followed pins stay on the map without signal.
